I am Annette Christie, born and educated in the UK and now living in Johannesburg, South Africa.
For over 30 years I have been a Personal Assistant and can say that no two days have ever been the same. My experience has seen me cover diary management, arranging of meetings, doing presentations, drafting letters/emails, email management, travel arrangements, internet/market research, organizing and managing events, managing IT amongst other things.
I have been described as: hardworking and not afraid to get my hands dirty and would rather make an impact than just deliver results. Accurate, efficient and delivering a high quality of output. Has a pleasant and cheerful nature, punctuality and conflict solving is some of her prominent attributes. Well-organised personal assistant who juggles very effectively the competing demands on my time, tackling jobs in the right order and shows a lot of initiative in the day-to-day performance of her job. Gets on well with colleagues and outside contacts and has done much to keep the morale of the office high.
As a Virtual Assistant I provide professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients which include:

I have done and passed a six-month course in Event Management through Damelin College and obtained certification as an Administrative Professional through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in the United States.
I have studied TEFL (Teaching English to Foreign Language students) through i-to-i in the UK and qualified to teach English to foreign language students. I am interested in teaching a wide range of students including children, adults, businesspeople and immigrants over the internet and in the classroom.

Where it all started!
Annette Christie was born and educated in the UK and now lives in South Africa.
Annette’s last job was working at UK Department for International Trade (part of the British High Commission) in South Africa as Personal Assistant to Trade Director for Southern Africa and later Personal Assistant for Trade Commissioner for Africa for the past 20 years and saw Annette helping British companies set up in Africa and South African companies set up in the UK amongst other responsibilities. Apart from the usual PA responsibilities i.e. diary management including producing a daily programme and pack of papers for the Trade Commissioner, taking and sifting telephone calls, managing two in-boxes for the Trade Commissioner, international, regional and domestic travel including arranging visas, hotels etc., reconciling expense claims, managing the Trade Commissioner’s driver as well as working closely with Africa Trade Team colleagues as well as colleagues in the UK. Annette has arranged numerous events and dinners to promote the British agenda in Africa and as well as programmes for visiting VIPs and Ministers. Annette has a wide range of contacts.
Annette is an eternal optimist always looking for the good and seeing the cup half full rather than half empty. Her enthusiasm for work and life is contagious and as a hardworking individual, tackles all tasks head on and believes nothing is impossible. When she was retrenched, she studied TEFL to add to her skill set, teaching children, adults and business people either in the classroom or the internet/on-line.
Ageless and Boundless is a young company with a lot of experience.
Annette enjoys running and runs approximately four marathons, two ultras and too many half marathons to mention in a year. Annette and her husband love to travel and when Annette has the chance will run International marathons which have included the London marathon, Barcelona marathon, Manchester marathon and the Comrades ultra 89km race. Other passions are swimming, wildlife, photography, reading and writing. Annette is currently writing her first novel which she hopes will be published one day! As part of giving back and helping others, Annette has volunteered to teach English to refugees for an hour each week.
